For the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT), applications are invited for following positions purely on contract basis:
Senior Consultants – 4
Nos. in the areas of

Up to Rs.75,000/- p.m
Consultants – 3 Nos.
in the areas of
Engineering, Social
Sciences, Sciences,
Biological Sciences,
Economics/Commerce,
Management
Rs.26,000-44,200/- p.m.
General information:-
• Engagement of Sr. Consultants/Consultants will be on full time basis and their place of work will be
New Delhi.
• SC/ST/OBC candidates should enclose attested photocopy of the caste certificate issued by the
Competent Authority.
• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
• Candidates should have excellent knowledge of Information and Communication Technology.
• Appointment is on contract basis initially up to 31.3.2012.
• The ranges of the consultancy fee/remuneration are on consolidated basis and are inclusive of all
allowances, etc.
• For Sr. Consultants, retired professionals in the age group of 60-70 years may also be considered.
In case of pensioners, their pension will be adjusted as per existing norms. • Candidates in service can be considered on deputation terms. Candidates working in Government
organization/PSE must route their applications through proper channel if their departmental
procedure requires so.
• Applications received after due date will be out-rightly rejected.
• Applications which are incomplete, unsigned will be rejected summarily.
• Candidates selected for appointment will have to sign a contract with EdCIL.
Merely fulfilling eligibility criteria will not confer any right upon the candidate to be called for
interview.

resume along with a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of certificates in support of
educational qualifications, experience etc. in the attached format within 15 days to Assistant Manager
