Eligibility:
Dy. Mine Surveyor, T&S, Grade-C:
Matriculation / equivalent examination passed
Surveyor Certificate of competency granted by DGMS valid for working in Coal Mines only.
Candidates with Diploma in Surveyor granted by DGMS will be given preference.
Jr. Overman T&S, Grade-C:
Three-year Diploma in Mining Engineering
Candidates must have Valid First Aid Certificate, Overman Certificate and Valid Gas Testing Certificate of competency granted by DGMS.
Mining Sirdar T&S, Grade-C:
Matriculation / equivalent examination passed
Candidates must have valid Certificate of Mining Sirdar ship First Aid & Gas Testing Certificate issued by DGMS under Coal Mine Regulation 1957.
Staff Nurse T&S Gr.C:
10+2 plus 'A' Grade Nursing Diploma or Certificate from a Recognized Institute
Jr.Pharmacist T&S Gr.C:
10+2 / equalavent examination passed with science subjects along with diploma in Pharmacy registered with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act 1948 with valid registration
Accountant Gr:
Candidate should have passed Intermediate Examination of ICWA or CA.
Jr. Stenographer (English)) T&S Gr. C:
Matriculation or equivalent examination passed
Applicant must have certificate issued by technical board/ITI supporting that the applicant is able to type 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typing.

Jr. Stenographer (OL)-Rajbhasha T&S Gr. C:
Matriculation or equivalent examination passed with Hindi as one of the subject OR
Matric passed certificate in Hindi like Prabhakar Praveshika etc
Applicant must have certificate issued by technical board/ITI supporting that the applicant is able to type 80 w.p.m. in Hindi shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in Hindi typing.

Forest Supervisor T&S Gr. C:
B.Sc. Agriculture
Asst. Foreman (Trainee) Mechanical T&S Gr.C:
Three years Diploma in Mechanical Branch

Scale of Pay for the NCL Vacancies :

(Monthly Rated) T&S Grade- C - Rs. 10,127.70 & T&S Grade- A - Rs. 11,784.52 of NCWA-VIII as reported on its official website www.ncl.gov.in


Age: Minimum Age is 18 years, Upper Age limit for all posts= 30 years for General, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST as on. 31 August 2011. (OBC candidates who seek relaxation must submit Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format).



General Information-


Besides basic pay, the post carries other allowances and fringe benefits as per Company’s rules/NCWA-VIII.
Applications containing the above details accompanied with the attested copies of all certificates should reach to the office of Dy General Manager (MP&Rectt), Northern Coalfields Limited, Singrauli, Post Office, Singrauli Colliery, Dist. Singrauli (MP), Pin Code- 486 889 on or before.10 September 2011.


The envelope containing application (as per prescribed format at annexure ‘c’) and other documents must be
super scribed in bold letters on the top mentioning that “THE APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF . . . . . . . . . ….”.
Reservation for persons with disability and ex-serviceman candidates will be applicable as per Govt. Directives. One candidate will apply only for one post.

The application should be accompanied with the attested photocopies of the Certificates/Testimonials in support of age, educational qualification, Caste certificate and physically handicapped certificates issued by competent authority, Experience etc. along with two copies of recent passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer. Those working in the Govt/Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should apply through proper channel. Incomplete applications & those received after the due date are liable to be rejected.

Management will not take any responsibility for any delay in receipt or loss in transit for any application or communication.

Submission of application by hand will not be accepted. Incomplete application will be straight away rejected. Application neatly typed should be submitted in the prescribed format only.


PAPS/Land oustees of NCL will be given weightage as per R&R policy of CIL 2008. For SC/ST/PAPS/Land oustees, 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. If any information provided by the candidates is found to be false or incorrect or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria, then his/her candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process or after recruitment or joining. Candidates employed with Govt.deptt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies have to produce NOC at the time of interview if called for the same, if such candidates cannot provide the NOC, they will not be allowed to appear for the interview. NCL reserves the right to change the number of vacancies and cancel/restrict/modify/alter the recruitment process, if required, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof. Departmental candidate who fulfill all the
eligibility criteria may also apply, and there is no age limit for them. Candidature is also liable to be rejected if there is any difference/variation shown in candidate's/father's name, surname in his/hereducational/technical/professional/caste certificates/application. Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the written test and only candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for personal interview in the ratio of 1:3 (3 candidates against 1 vacancy) keeping the provision of reservation for SC/ST/OBC in view. Management reserves the right to shortlist the candidates for written test also. The date of written examination shall be subsequently intimated.NOTE: (i) The number of vacancies are subject to change. (ii) Reserve vacancies ie. in SC/ST include the shortfall vacancies of previous recruitment drive.
